For "Cycling Finds", that spark ignited between two passionate cyclists - Dave and Julyan. We could write paragraphs of utter garbage about “journeys”, “discoveries” or “missions to change”. But ultimately it is easier to be honest. We’re both skint and had a few ideas for some cycling merch that we could create and sell.

After a bit of dabbling on the whiteboard, we came up with a set of catchphrases that would work well. In fact, we came up with forty of them, but a fair few were utter pants. For example, I’m not sure anyone wants a T-shirt with “I’ve lubed” written on it (if you do please get in touch). The forty phrases were narrowed down to a shortlist of ten that we felt were iconic.

Julyan then got to work with his designer skills to create a series of images that portrayed our favourite phrases. We transferred these to mug designs initially and so the first products of “Cycling Finds” were born.

We’re going to be expanding this product set over the coming months into clothing and artwork designs. But for now, let’s draw your attention to our lovely mugs. We hope you’ll find at least one of them appeals to your outlook or experience as a cyclist. At the moment they are pretty “roadie” centric but rest assured that we are working on designs for those who enjoy the art of the chocolate foot.

Thanks for visiting Cycling Finds!

Every great venture starts with a spark, a shared vision.
